The content on this site is general information about how disciplinary and grievance processes in graduate medical education usually work. It is not legal advice about your situation, and reading it is not a substitute for talking with a lawyer about your own facts.

No attorney client relationship from this website

Browsing this site, subscribing to the blog, or submitting the intake form does not create an attorney client relationship. A relationship begins only when we and you sign a written engagement agreement that describes the scope of the work.

Confidentiality of what you send

Even when no representation follows, we treat information you send through the intake form as confidential and we limit access to the people who review intake. Please do not send identifiable patient information. If you need to describe a clinical incident, describe it without patient names, dates of birth, or record numbers.

Jurisdictions and referrals

Our attorneys are admitted only in the jurisdictions identified on the About page. We do not offer legal advice in jurisdictions where we are not admitted, and matters that need local counsel are referred to a lawyer licensed there. We neither pay nor accept anything of value for any referral.

No guarantees

Prior results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome. Nothing on this site promises a particular result, a reinstatement, a settlement, or a timeline.

Privacy

We collect only what the intake form asks for, plus basic server logs. Submissions are stored in an access controlled database with row level security, uploads are stored in a private bucket, and only reviewers with a need to know can read them. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use intake content for advertising. To request deletion of a submission, contact us and we will delete it unless we are already representing you and retention is required.

Accessibility

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. If any part of this site is hard to use with a screen reader, keyboard, or magnification, tell us and we will fix it and help you another way in the meantime.
